 eir toolbox that they can pull out when needed. Tools that help them make 
 safe choices\, tools that build their awareness\, tools that build their c
 onfidence\, tools on how to set boundaries\, and the tools they will carry
  with them where they go. Start building their safety toolbox today! The C
 hild Safety & Self-Defense course is designed for children in kindergarten
  through 5th grade and will provide your child with vital safety skills wh
 ile building their belief in themselves. In this fun and interactive cours
 e they will practice using their voices effectively\, learning how to call
  for assistance loudly and clearly to attract attention and deter potentia
 l threats. They will practice using distance to avoid threats. They will l
 earn how to deal with emergency situations including taking part in 911 pr
 actice drills. Kids participate in fun yet purposeful exercises where they
  will also learn physical techniques including basic strikes and anti-abdu
 ction techniques. The kids will finish the course equipped with practical 
 skills and confidence which empowers them to identify potential risks whil
 e remaining calm and taking decisive action. Wear comfortable clothes and 
 bring a water bottle. Each child participating will require a ticket. Pare
 nts in attendance do not require a ticket. Tickets are $49.00.
